Generous and gentle petals

Magnolia. There's something soft and gentle about their petals as they blow gently in the breeze.
I took several photos of Magnolia today in different settings. This one is my favourite because of the smaller, unassuming flowers which are beautiful just because of that. They were in a private garden along the lake in another smaller town where I went walking today.

That cold and strong March wind has calmed and it was a perfect temperature for lakeside walks. Probably around 18-19C in the sunshine.
