The long and winding road

It was up early and down to Stobo to see if I could manage a half marathon distance. It was a lovely morning for it, a bit of a breeze and some fine rain to keep me cool and lots of lambs bouncing about.

I did indeed make it 21km, a full 5km further than I’d ever run before. It took my 2hrs 16mins. The last 0.5km was a struggle but I made it - yay! Now I know I can do the distance ahead of the race in May.

The lovely afternoon saw me head home
To start sowing some of the many seeds I’ve been buying through the winter.

It was up to neighbours for dinner in the evening, a pretty perfect day.
