Afterglow

Late in the day in a new location using an unfamiliar camera. Without the familiar sensations and subjects, I found photography difficult - how to even start?

However, I like the contrast here between the in focus twigs and buds against the ghostly trees silhouetted against the last light of the day. There's also the soft muted blues and browns of the sky and ground against the intense oranges of the setting sun. And finally the interesting shapes in the background against the vertical lines of the drooping branches. Not too bad!
