Life's Little Moments

Just a chickadee

Another day that has flown by, leaving me at 4 PM without having taken a single photo.  Add to that the fact that it is cold and windy today and what you end up with is an emergency blip.  Happily for me, there are at least 4 Black-capped Chickadees regularly visiting the feeders these days, so all I had to do was manage to click the shutter while there was still a bird on the branch.  Easier said than done with these flitty little things, actually.

Image is heavily cropped and, admittedly, not my finest work.  But it marks the day.

Met with neurologist today for MIL's headaches and as there is nothing ominous on her scans, he's inclined to think she has a chronic migraine.  Trying out a relatively new treatment and we will see how it works over the next month.  Meanwhile, in spite of constant headaches, her desire to find a boyfriend is undiminished and she asked the doctor at least 20 times if he was single.  Never mind he's young enough to be her son.

Counting the days until a little blip-meet next week, followed shortly by a trip to Florida!

And last year on this date, we were embarking on a cruise to the Panama Canal - wow.
