SeaWorld San Antonio

After driving 980 miles (1,577 km) from afternoon and overnight, we arrived at a hotel in San Antonio. We checked in around 7 a.m., got a few hours of sleep, then went to SeaWorld.

I had been to this park before I moved from Texas in 2012, but it was Jill's first time at any Texas amusement park. This is Wave Breaker: The Rescue Coaster, a family launched coaster. It was new to me. In the background is Steel Eel, a taller coaster.

The park operations felt like it was early in the season, which is was. Not many shops and restaurants were open, though we did get to start off with mimosas at the front of the park. We stayed until closing, 6 p.m., then went back to the hotel.
