Stormy weather

I was out with the local walking group today and it was a beautiful sight when we eventually had a view of the sea in the distance.  We had a mixture of weather on this very cold start to the day, we were hailed on several times, had outbreaks of sunshine and cloudy spells.  An interesting walk starting at Tipton St John and walking along the river Otter towards Ottery St Mary.  We then climbed out of the valley to East Hill where we had lunch once the hail had stopped.  Part of the walk took us alongside some beautiful gardens where the display of Magnolias was beginning to come to an end, see extra.  We ended up on Fire Beacon Hill where we had some magnificent views of the sea and the stormy weather.  A good walk of about 8.5 miles.
