One for Tim (Widwed030419)

We drove to Salisbury today to see Tim Kidner's (Sarum Stroller) exhibition in the Young Gallery.  Many of us will remember Tim and his excellent photographs.  He clearly had a difficult life but that is not apparent from the exhibition, just the diversity of his talents. I'll put a mobile image of one of the walls in the extra. There are 50 prints altogether and the exhibition runs to April 22nd.

Well worth seeing if you can get to Salisbury, the Young Gallery is part of the city library and is on one corner of the market square. A longish day for us so we visited the cathedral (main blip) and also the wonderful Mompesson House which is on the other side of Cathedral close.

My blip is a half and half of the cathedral Nave along with a reflection of the pillars in the font. The red ladder like structures are part of an art instalation which didn't gell with either of us ... but that won't be the same for everyone!

We had a couple of incidents with the car which caused us a little concern when the tyre pressure warning was triggered, but on stopping the pressures were all ok and equal - both times. Off to the garage tomorrow as there are a couple of other minor niggles which need checking.

Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting Wide Wednesday.

Rather tired now, so I'll catch up with your journals tomorrow.
Thanks to everyone who has commented on or visited my journal recently.  I do read, and appreciate, all of the comments but am not finding the time to reply individually at the moment.
