Meetings at Kellie Castle

Second 2019 meeting of the Members Centre Committee took place at Kellie Castle near Anstruther chaired by my goodself.

Cloudy skies, cold wind and rain greeted us on arrival, however after a very useful meeting where decisions were made we departed under blue skies and sun.

Today’s extra is the sun shining through some of the trees over the entrance drive.

On the way back to the car, I heard frantic knocking and banging coming from a refrigerated delivery truck parked nearby. I went over and opened the door to release the somewhat shaken driver who had become trapped inside when the door had blown shut in the wind. He was very relieved, as he had banging for some time. We both looked at the safety restraint which should hold the door open and it had failed.
