Morning Star

Today’s Blipfoto is the first one of the day. Another very sunny day, but still that cold wind from the North East.

It is a Mexican folded metal star, one of six bought in Edinburgh many years ago. They are designed to hold lights, and not let very much out.

Although we have been self isolating for three weeks, this is the start of week 2 of the 12 following the "Go To Jail" letter from the CMO.

Only another 11 to go before she sends me my "Get Out Of Jail Free Card".

Another morning of calls and conversations together with many emails to concerned friends. All very convivial and pleasant.

I did unroll the extension cable from the tool store to plug in the lawnmower, but following this cold wind I decided to use it to trickle charge the battery in my venerable Boxster S.

More menu discussions. Pat did try a recipe by a "venerable institution" of a cook in the UK, but after having the meal for lunch, we both agreed that the "venerable institution" should stick to baking.

Pat is now performing surgery on the remains to remove the pasta sheets from the other ingredients and reuse these in another dish for tomorrow.

Today we should have been at the Opening of a Photography Exhibition I have been planning. However, that together with the Godson’s 30th Birthday Bash; curling at an Edinburgh Ice Rink have been postponed.

The good news is that our Neighbour GP has recovered from "The Virus" and was heard having a little party with his wife and youngest sun.

Dr Foster is also free and clear.
