Eastward Ho!

To Norfolk for a flying visit. We arrived in Holt after lunch and after checking in to the hotel headed off to Blakeney. A good walk around the marshes almost as far as Cley and return by the same route to save doing the last stretch back to Blakeney along the road. I love the walk round the marshes; you really experience 'big skies' with views to the horizon in three directions. We spotted Egrets both on the ground and in flight, and a Marsh Harrier. I rather liked the Black Headed Gull in the extra doing his impression of Max Bygraves.
