Now, as I see it......

The Poppy Line

And now for the real reason we're in Norfolk. A visit to the North Norfolk Railway, known as 'The Poppy Line', for the Spring Steam Gala and in particular to see this engine. For the technically minded it's an ex-Caledonian Railway 0-4-4T No 419 that has rarely, if ever, been out of Scotland before and is making a flying visit to the NNR and a couple of other preserved railways before heading home again. We met up with Blipper Bom for a mini-Blipmeet before heading off on the railway to Sheringham via Weybourne; Bom and W thought the engine was 'cute'.

The Poppy Line was originally part of the M&GN railway which stood for Midland and Great Northern. Or, as it came to be known, the Muddles and Gets Nowhere.
