A common object

Well, after all that decorating we're unsure about the colour of the paint and the sofas have turned out to be uncomfortable. We sat in the sofa at the store and it felt lovely, so we ordered a pair with footrests. When they came yesterday they felt nothing like the one that we sat in at the store, which was one without recliners.

We went back to the store this afternoon to talk to them but will have to wait until the manager gets back in a couple of weeks time to see what our options are. As for paint, I think we're going to buy a couple of tins of colours and paint one wall and keep painting that wall until we're happy with the colour and then we'll decide what to do next. Anyone else had similar experiences with paint and sofas?

Long suffereing readers of this journal may recall an ongoing battle with Avis Car Rental about fees added to my credit card last October without me knowing what I was signing for. Well, today I had an email from Avis, after dogged persistence,  to say that as a gesture of goodwill they are going refund the charges.

This shot was in the store on the way out while we were looking at mats and tables, yes, yes, I know: an odd combination of things to look at. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday.
