Rock Choir Flash Mob, Fremlins Walk

Our first performance with Rock Choir as a flash mob in Fremlins Walk. The event was held to launch the Run for Live event in Maidstone in July. Quite an experience first milling around incognito waiting for the soloist to kick off then we all joined in and gathered together around the singer.

That first song was ROAR, after which we ripped off our jackets to reveal the Rock Choir uniform and arranged ourselves like a Choir. Fortunately, I didn’t have to wear a tee shirt with a big star on it as more subtle polo shirts were available meaning I didn’t have to look like a reject from the Teletubbies.

We sang 4 more songs after that; Dreams (Cranberries), Can’t Stop The Feeling, Don’t Stop Belivin and Footloose.

The rest of the day was packed too. Lunch in town, out to B&Q, to the gym, calling in afterwards at Homebase and getting caught in an almighty gridlock on the way home caused by an accident and a burst water main. A timely reminder, if we needed it, not to go out during rush hour. Goodness knows what the situation today would have been like if trucks were backed up as a result of problems at the ports.
