Duke of Wellington Statue

The iconic symbol of Glasgow with the obligatory traffic cone on Wellington's head. A few years ago there was a move to raise the height of the plinth to deter people from climbing up and replacing the cones removed by the council. An online petition defending the cone received over 10,000 signatures and the plan appears to have been shelved.
