A bit of a wet walk

But still plenty of takers and it was very enjoyable.
Dave who led the walk told me that one of his grandfathers was in the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry (the subject of my assessed tour on Sunday) and the other was in the 321 Quarrying Company (Royal Engineers) who were quarrying in France during WW1. He gave me some lovely photographs which I hope may earn me a few more brownie points. I will be so happy when Sunday evening comes. The die will have been cast!
