At last......

The view from the porch this afternoon.  It was all worthwhile.

After last night’s Thistle Dhu and an overly spiced up ‘Volcano’ the GP pronounced me dance floor fit for next week’s Dance Festival.  However a team of substitutes will be in the wings.  It has been preternaturally warm this afternoon so I took out my squeegee and did the windows.  CMC was impressed as I did this unbidden.  In the, process I heard a golden plover, a red throated diver, longtail ducks and a solitary meadow pipit.  Who needs binoculars?
