Joanna's guts

Piano tuning day today. What an amazing piece of craftwork (not Kraftwerk) from c.1890. Have been given an "advisory" in an MOT sort of way that the board is under stress on the left, revealing the makings of a crack that is likely to tear her asunder at some point.

Will enjoy it while I can. Banged out this King Crimson classic afterwards. A bit surreal on an old pub piano which is two semi-tones down, but a characterful experience nonetheless.

Tuner did a great job as ever, and even helped me sort out my mandolin, which was beyond the call of duty,
