Waiting room reading material

These are well worn magazines in the specialists waiting room. I got to wait a fair old while this afternoon but none of the magazines interested me. Guess I was a little nervous.

As I suspected I'm needing major surgery. One of my first thoughts was "how will I continue to blip?". Yes, I kid you not. Good to see I have priorities sorted! ;-)

I feel ok but where the 'sun don't shine' is mechanically challenged and there isn't any alternative. I'm already planning my blips for 29 and 30 March. Come 31 March I'll be largely horizontal for some time.

Six weeks off work and when I return I'll require a recliner chair or sofa I can lay on with lap top. (On the up side I won't have to attend many meetings ;-). After 3 months I'll hopefully get my running shoes on again and start the road back to fitness.

It will be tough and probably rough at times. I'd like to keep blipping through out but I have to accept I probably won't blip every day.

On the up side, I'll be restored to my former glory ;-) and I'll probably be surprised to discover how different I feel.

Thanks Mum for saying yes to coming down to care for me. Thanks Dad for letting her do so. We'll make sure she is cared for too.

So no, I didn't read any of the piles of magazines. But it did strike me how orderly and neat the piles were. I reckon someone has that task in their job description!
