Roller Derby

I had the opportunity to photograph at a local Roller Derby event today.  Loved the colour and the challenge though I'm not sure I've got too many 'good' images.  Quite pleased with a number of them though, so that's a good start.  Might have to try it again next time our local lasses the Sirens of Smash have a home fixture.  Great fun though - thanks to KP for organising :)

I was amazed at the number of people out and about in Tahuna - it felt almost as though people were packing in their final summer day out at the beach/hydro-slide/go-karting etc.....maybe it was something to do with the end of daylight saving tonight :(
