Tugging along

We drove up the Eathie Road to get to Cromarty today. The old barn is being converted and already looks amazing. The views from there are fantastic so it will be interesting to see what it looks like when it's finished.
A walk around the Old Gaelic chapel and the graveyard where there is always some interesting photos to take. It's now a ruin but covered in ivy although some attempts have been made to clear some of it. I was hoping that the old entrance doors would still be there as they had a pretty heart shaped lock but they are no longer there. The daffodils looked really pretty and the chaffinches and robins were singing away.
We walked back along the lower path and heard a horn sounding and thought there must be a cruise ship going out but we discovered that it must have been these large ships who were taking out one of the oil rig platforms. Interesting to watch this huge piece of metal work slowly gliding between the Sutors.
We decided to have a fish supper for dinner and it was very tasty with a huge piece of fish :)
