When it was Dull at Carskey Bay

9C dull with thin cloud. Moderate ENE/E breeze.

Grocery shopping.

We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. There were a few seals on the rocks at Kiel today, although none near the little beach by the cemetery car park where a stupid woman had two Labradors off the lead.  Four Gannets in the sky at Carskey, with two diving once each before they drifted off along towards Dunaverty.

We walked along to the far end of the beach and back. Fergus was on the lead. His paw is fine but he was sick before we went out this morning (and perfectly well again by the time he was full of breakfast and we went shopping) so no scampering about for him today.

Later Apothecary 7 was planning a new painting, accompanied by BBC radio 2.

DC-TZ90  f/3.3 1/400 sec. ISO-80 4mm (35mm focal length 26mm)

Note: The trails on the beach are horse hoofprints.
