Catch Up

So long since I have blipped that I need to get back into the swing of it again. So much going on the last few weeks I just haven't had the time.

Lots happening on the nursery.Last week we sold the last of the overwintered Pansy and Viola and they have all sold very well. The first three single span tunnels are now filling up with hardy bedding very quickly and a batch of perennials.
The first of the hardy Summer Bedding has started to sell and we are already onto the second batches of some of the Surfinia and Patio Plants.

New clutch into the van last week after only a 147000 miles.Mercedes very good turning it around in a day after we dropped it in before 7am.

Transplanted the third batch of Tomatoes today.Helen finished sowing the last of our own sowings of bedding plants.

Becky and Dale have been sowing some vegetables and working up the ground at my Mum and Dads.

I have been looking at a new dream machine. As a kid the Honda CB750 was everything a motorcyclist could want. The first of the super bikes.Retro is all the rage at the moment with Triumph,BMW,Royal Enfield etc all competing with each other but Honda quietly has the CB1100 EX and it is stunning in every way.A bright yellow one for sale in Blackpool is calling to me.

Aintree Grand National today. The event is not far from me and we have had helicopters flying over us all day.The names of the three horses that have died at the event already forgotten in the commotion of a horse winning it twice. So what. The spectacle is not worth the life of a single horse.A disgrace. When will it be stopped.

A beautiful Spring day.
