Passion

To the Royal Festival Hall to hear the Bach Choir performing Bach's St Matthew Passion. A masterpiece that keeps on giving. The more you hear it the more you see in it. Bro-in-Law Richard and darling niece Laura (see extra) both sing in the choir and a fine job they did too.

One of the quirks of the day is that there is a very long interval giving time for leisurely picnic lunches. They vary in levels of splendour, from the garage sarnie to gourmet cold cuts and champagne. Ours was toward the gourmet end, all laid on by sister Sue. Whichever style, everyone enjoys themselves  (see other extra).
