Steering and Lego

Mrs W has decided to design and build a mobility scooter for her next Lego model.  She has spent some days researching Lego steering mechanisms.  After coming up with a number of steering racks more suitable for a lorry yours truly brought in her new scooter so that she could see how it really works.
 
She is on the way now after muggings had a long play himself.  I’m now in the doghouse again for building bits of her model – again . . .
