Spring speckled wood

I’m still bunged up with cold so early afternoon I settled in and watched ‘ A star is born’. I had watched the Kristofferson / Streisand version many moons ago so thought I was prepared for a let down but I was wrong! Lady Gaga was a revelation - what a voice!!! And Bradley Cooper was amazing (and an equally cool voice). By the end I was bawling my eyes out which didn’t help the blocked nose any!
I decided I needed to walk my melancholy off and so headed to Far Ings. Didn’t see too many birds of note but did see speckled wood butterflies and a little comma and lots of beautiful hawthorn blossom
