Getting To Know You....

The 55+ group was joined in our monthly fellowship by the youth so we could get better acquainted over a pot luck dinner.  We started with an ice breaker that involved collecting as many middle names as possible in the time allotted.  There was a tie for first place between an adult and a youth, so they were each first in line on their side of the table.  Then we had a time for conversational questions about such things as pets and jobs that we've had or ones we hope to have some day.  We then pitted a trio of adults against a trio of youths for a cultural showdown and ended with sharing some prayer concerns with each other.  Thanks to all who worked to put this event together---it was an enjoyable evening!
