Springtime in the Rockies

Yesterday we had a high temperature of 80°.  Today we have been under a blizzard warning since noon.  It was 40° when we got up this morning and the temperature has been dropping ever since and is 26° now with blowing snow.  I liked this snowy shot that shows our Maple tree with its spring buds and our Blue Spruce.  Besides, it was either this or Pipersdad getting his eyes checked this morning.

PD had an appointment with the VA eye doctor at 10:30 in Loveland, about 20 miles away.  I am grateful that we were back in town before the storm got too bad.  Since it was just drizzling, we decided to stop for lunch and we watched the weather deteriorating while we were eating.  Fortunately, we only had a 5 minute drive.  I took my blip standing in the garage when we got home.
