Providing Assistance

A trip to the hairdressers and then I met a friend for coffee and a chat. 

This afternoon has once again proved warm and sunny so after watering the plants I took a chair into the garden so I could read a few more chapters of "Wipeout" by Ken Follett.  Before that though I had to eject a big spider that was residing in the chair.  I did try to take it back indoors with me but it rejected my offer.

I have no idea what these two flies are doing but I'm sure someone will enlighten me.  I know how you all love creepy crawlies, and it looks SO much better in large view. Go on, you know you want to.
