Crabby

Apple blossom fairies very much not in evidence - possibly something to do with the large dark cloud that has decided to loom in the background.

Our little crab apple tree is having a wonderful time this year, I don't recall it ever being quite as attractive.

The neighbours had a skip collected at around 7am this morning, it only took about 15 minutes but the noise was sufficient to have thoroughly woken me, and I couldn't get back off to sleep afterwards.  So Saturday's weekend chores got off to an earlier start than usual.  I did fall asleep after lunch though,  (I must be getting old) so I guess everything is back in balance.
