Dunster Castle

This building is really a Jacobean Mansion built on the site of an original Norman Castle.  There was a very interesting Kitchen tour which I joined taking us into the old servants quarters - the actual kitchen area was incredibly modern for its time with spit roast, steam oven and warming cupboard, for example.  After a time in the house, I wandered off to look at the Mill before (eventually) meeting up with the rest of the family in a tea shop - to get warm again!

Now back at our accommodation and struggling with internet access!  Fingers crossed this all uploads.
