Gargoyle 1

Lazy morning complete with scrambled egg on baguette for breakfast. Very tasty. We then headed to Notre Dame and after exploring the inside (it has very beautiful stain glass windows) we queued to go up to the top. For free. Got to love being under 26 and from the EU in France. The view was quite nice and we saw all the people protesting for marriage equality from the top.

Then went to Shakespeare & Co where I've been wanting to go ever since seeing Before Sunset and realising that the bookshop is actually a real place. Possibly my new favourite place, definitely want to explore it properly soon.

We then attempted to go to the Flea markets but when we got there they were all closed which was a disappointment and we were tired and hungry and then in a suburb of Paris which is quite out of the way and not really the nicest of places.

Decided to head to one of the places in my 'Paris Free & Cheap' guidebook that Cindy gave me. We ended up in a creperie just outside Le Marais which was very environmentally friendly and really nice. Also had 15 types of cider, we chose the cheapest but it was very good, quite fizzy. I had a crepe with lots of different types of mushrooms then we shared the most amazing crepe ever which had pear, caramelised almonds, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Yum.
