MONO MONDAY

I figured this spider was definitely commonplace around here, this is the third spider I've posted in as many months.
I'm non the wiser as to what he is - a Garden Spider or an Orb Weaver (thanks, Ninniex).  This one was along the path and attached to the fence where the sheep and dog were displaying their scarves and beanies on Saturday.  
There is a sprinkle of rain on the web - it's been lovely to have the odd shower pass through today.
I thought the birds would have feasted on the spider before this.
