UFO

Emergency blip! In case you haven't worked it out, this is a pendant lampshade. It's made of disks of capiz shell, soldered together. I've had it for years, and it's moved house with me more times than I can count. It's currently in the study. It has, for me, something vaguely lunar about the lampshade which this shot has successfully captured (although J maintains it looks more like an artichoke!).
