Broad bean flower

Its been a very green day - ie the weather was cloudy and misty and the green of the fields really stands out then.  I did the usual water fitness(in a very steamy pool) and pilates before heading home.  Later in the afternoon the weather cleared and the sun broke through so I headed down to the allotment.  The broad beans are flowering and I was most surprised to see a bee visiting the flowers.  I thought it was a rather magical sight especially as the bee is the same dark black colour as the flowers.  I have never seen these bees before but then I haven't grown broad beans before either.  A pity the bee flew off before I got a better shot.
