R08, HMS Queen Elizabeth

Arrived in Portsmouth bang on time today, here is a picture of HMS Queen Elizabeth as we sailed by. It's odd looking down on such a big ship as this, but it is twice the displacement of the ferry I was on, though still less than that of plenty of the big super cruise liners...

It took a while to dock and I didn't get the early connection to work that I wanted, but I wasn't too late and I even managed a half decent 20 minute walk from the station to work which helped to blow away the cobwebs.
