Beside the Sea

A fantastic day with a mini blipmeet and an extraordinary day by the coast.
We had arranged to meet Terrifo and SueJay50 at Porlock Weir (as we were travelling in our Motorhome we avoided Porlock Hill!!!)  We had a superb time around the marina before sitting down for coffee and cake; the tide was out and we were able to explore areas which would later be flooded by the tide.

Suejay and I had fun checking out the accuracy of the continuous autofocus on our cameras - Olympus OM1 MKii - before moving on to Bossington and a walk to the Petrified Forest.  Such an amazing place with so much atmosphere - an extra of a crow on one of the petrified trees with the reeds swaying in the wind,

J and I popped back to Porlock to see the marina at high tide and what a difference - such a huge increase in water! Then back to our 'cottage' to hear what the others had been up to, a delightful Thai curry and a great family meal.

Pepper is exhausted!!!!!
