Shooting Seagulls

A day by the sea today at Minehead.  The grandchildren walked miles out to sea  at low tide and then built a magnificent sandcastle - with some help from the local resident geotechnical engineer who advised on the arched bridge across the moat.  Resident CE thought that the ground conditions would not sustain the development in the event of encroaching floods! He was right.

Resident CE and Resident Photographer then disappeared off the site for a warmer coffee shop.  RP decided to hone skills on continuous focus using the local seagull population as targets - reasonable success.  A skill that needs continued mastery but well worth the effort.

A Last Supper of Fish and Chips to celebrate another successful week away, looking forward to Easter 2020 in Sussex which is already booked.
