Enjoying the Warmth

Today warm air arrived from somewhere. It's been warm in the sun for the last week, but in the shade it was still only a few plus degrees and after sunset the air rapidly cooled.  When I went out this morning it was 16°C in the shade and 25°C in the sun. I sat on our south facing veranda and was almost too warm!
In the late afternoon we went to town to do a bit of shopping and go for a walk along the coast. We started at this open air museum where there were lots of groups sitting around in various places, enjoying the sun.  We did a little walking but mostly we did like these people and enjoyed the sun.
Later we came home and found the sun shining on our front doorstep. We sat there and rewarded ourselves with a G&T. That was the end of most productive work for today!
