Ross on "Y".

Left the house at 7am  to go to Ross on Wye. We do this twice a year, weather permitting, as J goes to the auto jumble just outside Ross. He drops me off in town, and I go for  breakfast, as the shops aren't open, and afterwards I have a browse around the town. Just like most market towns these days. it's mostly charity shops, but still nice to have a wander around somewhere different. About two hours later, J phoned to say he was ready, and he met me just outside the town. We drove back to Monmouth, and then turned off to go down the Wye Valley. It's a beautiful drive alongside the river,  and we decided we were going to stop off at the Old Station Tintern, and have a snack, but   the car park was full, so we gave up. The drive home was slow, because as you approach the Brynglas tunnels in Newport, the queues were long and slow. Once we got through the tunnel, it was fine, and the rest of the journey was uneventful, thank goodness. Glad to get home safely, and I think it may be an early night. See extra photos.
