Magnificent Horses

Today I went to the Sandringham Craft and Wood Festival and what a glorious day they had for the first of three days. I was looking out for ornaments for the garden and picked up a couple (metal boxing hares and copper grasses with leaves). I did enjoy watching the beautifully turned out shire horses. Evidently shire horses are at risk of becoming extinct in the UK which would be a terrible shame, so it was good to hear they're being used in the Royal Parks. 

I sat out in the sun in my new garden this afternoon - I do like to sit in the sun and read a book.
