Phew .... hot one

Lovely sunny day - a record temperature of 25.5 degrees today in the uk :)

Trip to the garden centre - bumped into a work colleague who is off sick at the moment following surgery to her hip, she’s doing well, although over did it a bit recently. Looking forward to catching up with her later in the week.

Mooch around the flowers and plants and ended up buying some new shrubs for the garden. Back home to start on the garden - too hot, only “mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun”. We have an area of decking that has rotted and quite dangerous, hubby got his saw out and after a trip to the DIY store, built another planter next to the decking. Filled it with soil and put a couple of shrubs purchased from today - looks pretty and safer than what was there. :)

Movie night tonight - Ant Man and the Wasp - good film. :)
