Why not?  But these were an unexpected treat!  They were still in shadow on my walk to work but on the way back to the car ... sunshine!

While I was shooting them, I heard two cheerful voices cycling by -- 'Hi, Mrs. Wag!  Have a nice day!' -- students from my mentoring class, one American and one Russian, who have become very good friends.  Wouldn't it be fab if we had more such international, diplomatic, genuine relationships untainted by nuclear conflict, suspicions of espionage, and covert killings?

A beautiful day ... and then one more day before a long weekend.
