Newcomer

This is the second year that I have had Carmassias in my garden and they are such a delight. They are tall, striking flowers but sadly they are the same colour as bluebells and flower at the same time, so tend to get a bit lost. I Googled them, and found out that they are related to asparagus, originate in Canada and USA and were an important food crop of the indigenous people of the north-west of the American continent.
We've had another hot day, with the doors and windows open and lunch in the garden.
