Passing to Success

Today we made the trip over to Salford again to watch wigan play in the Super League . The reason for playing them away twice in a few weeks is that the way the fixtures are worked out we play some team twice away and once at home and then others we play twice at home and once away. It is all worked out from the finishing places the season before.
Thankfully it was a lot warmer and no wind as the other week it was freezing cold and quite windy.
Perfect weather for a bank holiday and a near perfect game. We took an early lead and held on to it until the 2nd half when we let things slip. Thankfully with about 3 minutes to go we retook the lead and came out winners 30 - 26 . This shot show Wigan passing the ball out wide which lead to the 1st try. more shots can be seen on my blog .
The journey there and back was quite a nice clear run. We did see quite a lot of smoke coming over the moors from some terrible moors fires which are destroying a lot of the habit which is terrible for the wildlife, the only down side from this lovely sunny weather.
In other news Lincoln city despite only drawing 0 - 0 have become League champions as well as gaining promotion. So back home now and watching more rugby league that was on TV this afternoon and enjoying a few beers to celebrate Wigans win and Lincoln becoming Champions of League 2 .
Hope you have all had a good Easter 1 more day off for me as I have booked tomorrow of work as well.
