The universal language of beauty

Sarah and I had a walk and picnic in the Botanical Gardens today.

It was beautiful. We kicked leaves, admired trees, followed paths, sweated in the humid subtropical hot house, and ate our lunch in the rose garden.

As we ate people from many different countries came to admire the roses. There is a universal appreciation of beauty whatever your language and culture.

The Botanical Gardens was also our meeting place with Sarah's friend and grandmother. I did a few errands and headed home

It's quiet, Spotify is back to my music, and Jasper just has the one admirer at his beck and call.

Now my attention must turn to packing for going away.

Today's gratitude: For the slower pace of wandering around the gardens. It was lovely.
