Better Late Than Never

These should have gone in on Good Friday - the traditional day for planting tatties. 
Three reasons why they didn't :

1. We had visitors coming and going.
Nicholsons, Bairds and Birketts
2. It was too hot to do anything in the garden!
3. Busy, busy, busy day!

Anyway Frank offered to plant them today; he also put in the onion sets.
I sowed carrots and planted the raspberry canes I brought from our last house and a new blackcurrant bush.
