Emergency hat blip!

Dropped off a couple of new hats at the craft shop on the way to H's this afternoon.  A wild day - the fierce easterly wind was so strong that we could hardly get the big sliding door on the barn open.  Not very warm either!

We spent some time dismantling the beginnings of a starlings nest in the engine compartment of the big tractor. There is a real chance of them causing the tractor to go on fire if they are left. Lots of bird droppings on the mud guard and bits of straw peeping out were the tell tale signs.  It was incredible that they had packed so much straw in in one day!

The first of Lottie's four Puppy Socialisation classes in the evening.  Not a great success as most of the other puppies there were from multi dog households and very boisterous.  She was a bit overcome and didn't take kindly to being bounced on.  We have friends with less Tigger-ish dogs with whom she will be much happier!
