Changing the Guard.

All going well so far. Four eggs laid and as one Avocet comes to the end of its turn its partner gets ready to bed down to keep them warm.

Don’t think I can tell which is male and which is female.

The most dangerous time will come when the chicks hatch and the gull predators are active. Fingers crossed.
