Rhubarb!

It's not very often I go out for the evening to meet up with old work colleagues and then return home with some lovely rhubarb. But tonight was the night!

The tapas meal was shared with Diane and Wendy who Patricia and Menna and I used work with developing exciting education projects involving local employers and schools in the 1990s. Wendy now runs her own successful gardening education project in schools and Menna is a primary school teacher. It is lovely to catch up with them all. And like all real friends even if it's several months since we met it feels like yesterday!

But what about the rhubarb? Grown in Wendy's allotment, I shared mine with Menna and she has started a jar of rhubarb and ginger gin....now there's an idea.
