Ohio River front Art......

Last night we stayed in Paducah, Ky.  We heard from others in the motel that the river front in Paducah had  amazing river-front art the depicted the early history of Paducha and the exploration of the North American region of  wahat is now the US..  There must have been 12 to 15 paintings that were maybe 10' high and6-8' wide, depending on the scene.  I have chosen four scenes to share.  They are about the Lewis and Clark expedition to the northwest, how they got there what they did, the indians that helped them, the early business trade of the Ohio River and how important that river traffic business was to the growth and development of the country.   Every one of the paintings was beautiful, so very difficult to choose, and just so beautiful to walk by, read the info markers and enjoy.
Today we drove 369 miles and landed in Harrisonville, Ark..  We found a terrific pizza place and had wonderful food.
   More to come tomorrow.......
